Lilienthal GX 28" Carbon Gravel wheelset with Pi Rope spokes.
The GX from Lilienthal.bike is our carbon rim made for the riders who are fighting through the urban jungle, but also like to ride off-road on dirt and forest trails. Due to the wide profile, the rim, combined with low air pressure, offers high comfort and maximum grip. The wide rim flanges protect against snakebites in punctures and by the height of 35mm it is also visually a real eye-catcher. Released up to 140kg system weight, it is ideal for bikepacking on long tours or for heavier riders. Unique is also the look of our GX rims by the aviation NCF material. By the way, we do not have to paint our rims. Perfect quality does not have to hide anything. Our partially automated and energy-efficient manufacturing process also contributes to this and delivers the highest quality. Made in Braunschweig / German.

The combination of Lilienthal GX Gravel rims made of high performance aviation NCF material, NEWMEN Fade Straightpull hub and the PI ROPE spokes is ideal for passionate road bikers who not only want a more intense feeling for their bike, but also want to leave the roads sometimes and experience pure freedom on dirt and forest roads.
The PI ROPE textile spokes are made of extremely robust, braided Vectran fibers. The PI PROTECT coating makes them durable and weather resistant.
Tensile strength and damping are many times better than conventional steel spokes. PI ROPE textile spokes can achieve up to 5x lighter weight compared to conventional steel spokes. In combination with our lightweight Lilienthal GX Gravel rims you benefit from more precise cornering. The high stiffness of the rim and the prevention of plastic deformation gives you more control and safety at high speeds and on demanding routes. The wide profile allows wider tires lower air pressure and significantly increases the comfort. The reinforced rim flange provides safety on gravel roads and simple trails.
